Planmakers is part of the Walker Macy design team that is working with Boise’s Capital City Development Corporation (CCDC) to stimulate mixed-use development along the Pioneer Corridor connecting downtown to the Boise River. The vision introduces a dynamic public open space to provide an attractive framework for redevelopment and infill with a wide range of living and working environments.
Eagle City Welcome Arches

Planmakers worked with local citizens to prepare a plan for improving welcome and guide signs for downtown Eagle. Four handsome entry arches and a welcome gateway arch leading to downtown Eagle were built in collaboration with Classic Design Studio.
Capitol Boulevard Plan and Action Program
Planmakers prepared the Capitol Boulevard Plan and Action Program and provided leadership and coordination to help restore the grandeur of the city's premier entrance through landscaping, lighting, and signing improvements. Planmakers continues to advocate for a world-class experience for the boulevard.
Donnelly Streetscape Project

Planmakers prepared plans to insure pedestrian movement through sidewalk and alley improvements for the compact city center of Donnelly, Idaho. Sidewalks would be scored with square patterns and a planting-furnishing strip includes street trees with tree grates and tree guards, as well as energy efficient light standards. Optional streetscape elements include benches, bike racks, public art, and a drinking fountain. Re-opening and interconnecting the maze of alleys provides the surrounding buildings with improved access and creates intriguing areas with their own special identity. These design elements make a great street and contributes to a place where people want to be.
